Volunteer Meetings & Orientations
Volunteer meetings provide customer service training and department breakout sessions.
Volunteers Under 18
The minimum volunteer age is 16. All volunteers under 18 years of age at the time of the convention must have a signed parental permission form on file. Volunteers aged 15 and under are only permitted to volunteer if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the same department and shift.
Volunteering Rules & Policies
- Volunteers complete a total of 16 volunteer shift hours over the 4-day convention.
- Arrive on time for assigned shifts and remain for the full shift duration.
- Abide by all official AnimeLatino convention policies and attendee standards.
Maintain continuous communication with department directors. Internal communications, guest announcements, and policy briefings remain strictly confidential until officially announced.
Volunteer badges are strictly non-transferrable. Transferring issued badges results in immediate expulsion and permanent ban. Alcohol and prohibited substances are strictly forbidden while on shift.
Volunteers are issued official AnimeLatino Volunteer T-shirts. Cosplay is permitted during shifts provided it does not impede job performance or crowd safety.
